Kobo screen broken

My Kobo eReader's screen has broken, and I've only had it a couple of weeks. I pulled it out of my bag this morning, and there faint lines and blocks all over the display, as well as blank areas. I did a bit of googling and this seems to be a common problem, fixable only by replacement. I'm so disappointed! Luckily I have my receipt. I'll take it back to Angus and Robertson tomorrow and see what they have to say. Stay tuned.
