“We could have, I suppose, just gone to the town clerk and had that signed,” he said, “but, you know, I’m a religious person, and every major event in my life has been marked with some kind of liturgy and giving thanks to God.

For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

Would you have preferred him to "live in sin"?

David Castor, I have observed that your comments have become increasingly fractious and are just plain boring. Just what are you all about? General ideas I have gleaned from reading your comments & blog (correct me if I'm wrong)is that you relate to ppl who are marginalised, basically loathe "Sydney Anglicans" and the horrid way they treat people, you hate the mean way that bloggers who call themselves Christians treat ppl with "monority" views, and you're a pacifist. There seems to be some major dissonance between who you say you are and what you do, as there is with everyone, but you seem to spend most of your resources haranguing ppl like Craig instead of doing what you say you are called to do, minister to those who are living on the margins. So what gives?

Yep, and you cant tell me it was actually slated for June with no prior knowledge of Lambeth, which comes once every ten years? P-lease.

I smell a political statement coming on. Even you must agree with that David?
